Just let me know when you have free time, I have a feeling my schedule is more open than yours, these days.

That is probably very true! Typically I have Sunday afternoons, Tuesdays (all day), Thursdays (During the day, meetings at night), after work on Monday, and spotty availability Wednesdays and Fridays (Due to class/meetings).

If you're thinking of shooting at Baron's Den, Sunday afternoons after I get off work would be convenient. If you want to stay in the JC area, whether that be my place or up in the woods (same thing LOL), then pretty much anytime when I'm not working. Just not before 1000, as I'm really NOT a morning person.

Hmmmm, either one works for me. Although I'm kinda leaning more towards woods/your place for two reasons: Cost, and we can setup the range however we like for different kinds of drills. Actually if we did do it at your place we could also scope out where we would want to build the range. I'm not a morning person either so we're good there! Haha Okay, I guess it will kinda depend on what everyone else wants to do.

Okay, sounds good. We'll need to build a few target frames. We can somehow affix them to rebar, to be able to move them easily.

I have a copy of LCSO's firearms course. If you like, we can use that for some basic skills to start, just to get everybody on the same page. I may have some materials for a police rifle course, and possibly shotgun, if anybody is going to be shooting long guns.

I have several portable targets as well, like two big ones, and a bunch of little ones that you can stick in the ground and put clay pigeons in. They are all brand new, some still in their boxes! Haha See, that is one of the many reasons why you are AWESOME!!! I'd be up for building targets too, however you want to do it, just let me know what needs to be done and when. Very Happy

I would like to shoot my shotgun, and I have a .22 plinker, so longun capability would be useful I think.

Okay, very cool. I have a clay pigeon thrower that I have never used, so we can use that. Also a .22 plinker, some silhouette targets, some printed 8 1/2 x 11 zombie heads that we can have some fun with by putting them over the silhouette heads, etc.

I think it would be cool to build some frames, as it will make it easier for multiple people out there.

Now that you mention it, I think I do too. I bought it when I bought the targets, still need the actual pigeons though. lol YES, that would be awesome!!!

Yeah we could make some sweet portable targets out of pressure treated lumber or something, kinda depends on what shape and style you want.

Let's come up with a few ideas. I have some building materials, but not a bunch. Unless we use Susan's fence lumber, hehhehheh.

If we need lumber, there's that discount place on 99, south of Beltline. The boards aren't perfect but they won't need to be for our purposes.
